Music for Running - Especially composed - The music is good!

During the just concluded Beijing Olympics one of the most frequently talked about aspects of a successful athlete’s performance was their excellent ‘rhythm’, whether it was athletics, swimming, rowing or any of the other sports.
Samuel Wanjiru of Kenya ran the marathon in Olympic record time of 2:06:32. With perfect rhythm, he ran at a steady pace of 3:00 per km staying on that pace consistently the whole way.
Not many people can aspire to be as good as Samuel, but run2rhythm can help us all run with a consistent pace over the journey, whether it’s for 1km, 5km or a marathon.

JogTunes is a site dedicated to helping runners find music that matches their running paces. It boasts a vast selection of music all determined and categorized by style and BPM.
Mixing music from JogTunes and run2rhythm makes great running programs

The reason that some music seems more appropriate than other music to you is because its beat more closely matches your running cadence, ie, the number of beats per minute is similar to the number of steps per minute.
